frankenstein-ette.....wow this is something- poor kid - anyhow- they removed nearly every major organ in her abdominal cavity-small and large intestines,liver pancreas,spleen and stomach-3 seperate teams worked to remove the tennis-ball sized tumor in her stomach-which was tangled around major organs and blood vessels-1 team worked on the abdominal cavity-the other 2 prepared the large and small intestines and liver-keeping them healthy outside the body-using cold preservation fluid-the kind used in transplantation.....

It is totally amazing what they can now do in the operating room.
