O.K. you need to pick a side here: In this clip you state that Hydro Electric plants are to blame for 'vast amounts of methane and carbon dioxide'

When in fact, the article links the 'Dirty secret' of Hydro plants to decaying plant life which releases methane. Alive or dead, the source is the same.

Then in THIS clip you state that plants DO NOT contribute. Make up your mind, please. Its seems your source is not credible either after reading this, as both clips come from the same place. And again, where are all the other stories or links to back up these 'facts'? I'm not finding them anywhere else.

No 'study' is needed to confirm what has already been verified. Dead and decaying matter releases gases, lots of it and all kinds. Living things also release all kinds of gases including all animals, plants and humans.

The study refuted a prior study. The prior study found that regular old green plants emit methane and lots of it. This was a major mind blow for most methane researchers since the major methane generation pathway happens without oxygen present, which is certainly not the case with green plants. This study says the prior study is wrong and gave reasons. But there is news afoot that the prior study's main author is going to publish more substantiated proof that they do. Let the green plant methane wars begin!
