This is not actually correct. You need to hire a lawyer and have the creditors contact them instead of you.

Is anything ever this 'cut and dry'? LOL This is just a guideline for those in which this may apply. I have never had anything financed that is unpaid for at this time. Yet, I get repeated calls from a company searching for someone named Alfred. They call all hours of the day and night and it is a recorded message. I can't tell them they have the wrong person. When I do try to call this company, I have to punch in my Social Security number to further the phone menu selection. So, you see my dilemma? Can't tell them they are in error without giving up personal data. So, this little letter might do the trick. If not, at least, I will have the return receipt that they were notified by me to stop calling.
