It is widely-considered the main source of entertainment for the human race and a useful parenting tool as well. In the early days of television, the intro was considered a key component to the essence of a television show and many of them we're better than the shows themselves. These days every show starts with somebody saying "previously" followed by a series of scenes from previous epsiodes of that show.
