It amazes me that the sunday night feeling i had as a kid before the school week started still lingers in me as an adult. And that, despite the fact that i love my work. egoldstein yes, it is a dreadful feeling knowing you have to wake up Monday morning. Thanks for the comment. I think school did a terrible thing to me rather than helping me. With 25 years of wrenching on cars and trucks I've noticed that job burnout conditions thinking beyond the point of anxiety. Sunday evenings have illicited actual agony dreading going to work on Monday. Those types of feelings often have residue till Thursday when things start looking up for the weekend. I did a special study and clipseries on job burnout and realised that I have it and have had it for years. The only time I actually look forward to Monday is when I know I will be doing something new and different. I know what you mean skwirlnator, I don't work at the moment but I used to dread going back to work the next day. This is the upside of working seven days a week most of the time.... I have no Mondays. |
