Eastern Orthodox Christianity bearing not many differences from Catholic's and any others religion in respect of progress for humankind. Folk's alternative medicine is often growing from old proven by centuries traditions and believes as Church itself, but I doubt quantum physics and nanotechnologies can have something in common with it.
