If you want to spread an idea, get the children first, before their minds become too developed to be as open to suggestion. Often the influence will stay in the subconscious. I remember watching these cartoons as a kid, and thinking they were all bugs bunny's "enemies" but he was always too smart for them. However they created the stereotypes that would have to be unlearned. The cartoons context can be put into perspective, but their example can be a way of teaching the offensiveness of stereotype, and the way it can so easily be considered as acceptable until it is seen in retrospect. Related stuff here. They're done in a funny way though just to poke fun Bugs bunny used to be a nice guy. He turned real mean as I hear many cartoons are today. I'm not in the T.V. loop. Well, If you find it offensive, YOU are part of the problem. But Disney is F***ed up, i'll agree with that. Well, If you find it offensive, YOU are part of the problem.Congrats genius, Bugs Bunny wasn't created by Disney. |
