This refutes the talk radio propaganda that China's demand is the cause of increased gas prices. China, despite its population, consumes 1/3 of what the U.S. does. Bear in mind also the "European Union" is not a country, so if it is deleted, its makes clear just who dominates global oil consumption, with no one else even close. Here the impartial observer can see that the U.S. consumes over 25 percent of total global demand!

Excellent! Bear in mind also, both in this issue and in the production of greenhouse gases, the Chinese amounts per capita are vastly less than those of the USA. If we were all maximum green, China would logically and fairly consume more fuel and produce more greenhouse gases than the USA. Their pollution per person is much lower than ours.

I see this and realize where the biggest impact of a clean alternate fuel source will be.
When it is found there will be great wealth created in America from the conversion.

See my full article: High Gas Prices: China's Demand or War Policy at my blog, which shows that global demand has increased in the past few years by less than 2 percent, whereas fuel prices have skyrocketed--another full dollar from where we were just over a year ago!
