There was a time when conservatives lamented the dumbing down of American culture.

Now they revel in it and defend it to the death.

I watch and listen to Palin and the more she says, the more I think I am losing my mind. She speaks nonsensical words and have you noticed the lilting quality to her sentences - it's eerie. My thoughts on republicans and Palin is that 50% love her and the other 50% is mortified but too ashamed to say so.
