Kill trees to make books to line your walls to save the planet

Books almost seem to be viewed as a "commodity", based on their garage sale pricing here in Canada. Most paperbacks are $.25; hardcovers $.50 at garage sales. And often, you can get them for nothing. FREE books would make great insulation.

Well I do think its detroying trees just to keep you warm, but at least you pay less for electric bills. Wonder how to hang up some pictures if your walls are all bookshelves.

Books that are already printed- are from trees that are already dead, so if you buy OLD books, you are not destroying any new trees.
It's reusing the things that are already here that could be thrown out or burned...sounds eco-friendly to me.
