Pictures were also available on the <A href="http://www.olpcnews.com/">news Web site</A>. The <A title="%24100%20laptop%20gets%20working%20prototype%20--%20Wednesday%2C%20May%2024%2C%202006" href="http://news.com.com/100+laptop+gets+working+prototype/2100-1005_3-6076351.html">OLPC project</A> is still in a beta stage, as the first 10 "B1" laptops were hand assembled prior to a larger 900-laptop run, according to the OLPC Wiki.</P><P>
It's not clear how many color options will be available for the OLPC devices, but maybe <A title="Yearning%20for%20color%20on%20laptops%20--%20Monday%2C%20Jan%2030%2C%202006" href="http://news.com.com/Yearning+for+color+on+laptops/2100-1041_3-6032356.html">green is the new black or gray</A> in laptop design.
