LisbethJ says: I would never be able to forgive the system for this outrage its so wrong People make the system. All it takes is just one person to care This is why I am an advocate of Brainwave Fingerprinting. If they had it around they could have cleared her and exonerated many others imprisoned unjustly. Of course, I would like to see this technology used on EVERY federal and state employee as well. I mean no offense, but it usually takes quite a few people to care, in my opinion. It may not necessarily always indicate a lack of caring, sometimes it indicates a lack of power to do anything about it. Hence, more people, more power. Without any research, just judging by the clip itself, that seems to be the case. That is why the ones who hold the guns and power can get away with the things they do. Sad, indeed. unbelievable! given the bare bones of the case i would agree that jean gambell was "lost" and forgotten by the system and while i do not wish to sound a false note here i have to ask, as the article does not make this point clear, how were allan and david recognized by a sister who had already been "certified" some four and seven years before they were born? when did either of the brothers come to believe that a sister they never knew was dead? lastly why if notified in 1982, after the death of their mother, did no one take action? i will assume that "certified" is a euphemism for bedlam and that is where she entered the system but as to why her family or anyone else failed to remember what became of her seems equally tragic. |
