dosset says: Had only the congress and the nation listened to this VERY sound advice from a truly great man. Al GORE? TRULY GREAT? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That's $#^%)ing funny! You're a regular Jon Stewart! Keep up the great work. I like Gore. But i think he didn't begin to be comfortable expressing himself genuinely and honestly until after he lost. That is a great shame. But I really am disappointed in how lame he was while campaigning. Mission Accomplished - Bush "The Bungler" Al Gore didn't lose the election, Egoldstein. Al Gore didn't lose the election, Egoldstein. Then why did he concede the election? Because he had class. Actually, It was because his lawyers told him he could not win his challenge, despite his requests to continue recounts by his rules and omit mailed-in military votes. As for class? Well, there's no accounting for taste. This man you say has class has changed his position on EVERY issue, including environmental issues. Despised in his own state where a crook like Harold Ford Jr. has a higher approval rating. Of course, it was clear that Daddy Bush's friends on the USSC were going to install Bush no matter what. So it's understandable that Gore would concede. By the way, the Bush side fought to keep the military ballots from counting as well. Gore isn't despised in his own state, and Ford isn't a crook. I wonder why rightwingers get personal and ugly rather than stick to the issues. Not quite an accurate description of sentiment in Tennessee by Willhelm but I've come to expect that. Seems Gore is also liked in Tennessee. Republicans not doing so hot there. Read on. - Link Spring 2007 First Release: Is Tennessee turning Blue?
Of course, it was clear that Daddy Bush's friends on the USSC wereOh,that clears it up thanks. sheez. Seems Gore is also liked in Tennessee.I live in Tennessee. Gore cannot even go out in Public. He is absolutey despised. As for Ford and his family, they are on the nightly news more for their misdeeds and crimes than anything else. So, you're not quite accurate BR, but I've come to expect that from you. I'm a native Tennessean, and I happen to know that Gore is very popular there. But don't take my word for it, let's look at how Nashville's own WKRN-TV describes him in a telecast aired on February 14, 2007. '"Gallup Poll Shows Growing Support For Al Gore" - Tennessee's most popular politician may not be sitting in any elected office. . ."' When the media describes Gore as "Tennessee's most popular politician," it's hard to accept your claim that he is "absolutely despised" in Tennessee. Perhaps you meant to say he is despised by some of the really hard line wingnuts. But obviously, WKRN sees him as "most popular." They like him so much that if he would have won the state of Tennessee in 2000, He would be President. But, he did not. Second, Polls are garbage. We are in 2007. The US government uses exit polling to determine whether elections are legitimate in foreign countries. The US did so in the case of the election in Ukraine. There seems to be a double standard. willhelm said:Irrelevant to your claim that he is now despised in Tennessee. By the way, you never showed that either Harold Ford, Sr. or Harold Ford, Jr. are crooks either. If we're going to begin smearing politicians because of legal problems of their relatives, the Bush family had better look out.. "Polls are garbage. You really should read up on modern polling methodologies. I suggest a quick read of this piece from some of the guys at Gallup. (See: "How are polls conducted?" b... |
