The Bush administration has targeted Burma (with UN support) for "regime change". This is too perfect an opportunity, and the propaganda is now being pushed toward that end, while feigning compassion for the people. The US has an embassy in Burma, and the UN has offices, with direct contact to the government and media. So did the US and UN do their part in warning? 2. Note also this storm took, per experts, a very unusual turn and easterly course--contrary to nature's pattern. |
