I've heard, that in some countries they believe that having sex with a virgin will cure them of AIDS and to make perfectly sure that their victim actually IS a virgin, they choose babies to rape. The number of children and babies raped each year because of this horrible myth is sadly enough on the rise... I've heard that too thisnamecantbetaken. I don't consider myself a victim anymore, I'm a survivor. I admit I have setbacks like anyone else, but I refuse to give it anymore power. My husband is one of the best men I've ever met in my life. This happened over 30 years ago, mind you, and a couple things and have helped me on my path of healing. I truly believe God never gives you more than handle. I admit back in the past, because of the past, I stopped believing in any type of faith. When my daughter was born and almost died and... Do you feel that God sent your daughter to you to help you to find your faith and be a survivor? She's a survivor, too. Also, you both have helped your husband be a survivor. Each month the clinic treats several babies for rape but, from all the cases that have been recorded by the clinic since 2003, you can count the number of men convicted on one hand.oh god. i never knew this. i never knew it was such an epidemic. |
