We denied Afghanistan to the taliban and al Qaeda as a safe operating theatre, due to the audacity of Bush's masterful war plan. Had Gore or his ilk been in power, al Qaeda would still have safe haven in Afghanistan and would have carried out many more high casualty attacks on our homeland.

Bush has managed to literally destroy al Qaeda, and those remnents that still survive are hiding under rocks. Having a liberal in power over these 7 years would have absolutely guarenteed numerous attacks on our homeland resulting in tens of thousands of casualties. Instead our magnificent President Bush has taken the war to the enemy and annihilated them.

I will not dignify your FALSE analogy of Germany, and trying to compare that war to Bush starting a war against Iraq… you probably believe that the belief evolution is what caused Hitler to start his ethnic cleansing.

Also Al Qaeda is still around and thriving, not annihilated as you state. If they were annihilated then they would not be in Iraq now, of course they were NOT in Iraq post invasion.
