I wonder how psychiatrists can judge the mental stability of those they don't know personally. They don't have any thing to compare. I have had some problems, but I could never trust a psychiatrist because they are so remote and seem so aloof. But when I was told of a problem by someone that knew me it was easier to relate to both them, and their perspective which helped me get my bearings.
Maybe one way of saying that everyone is crazy at one time or another, but if we weren't life would be dull.
One of the biggest catalysts for psychiatric instability, is sleep deprivation. When we are not able to dream.
