Best tea is made from water boiled only once. So boil only as much water as needed and pour out any excess water boiled and refill.

I have tried and failed numerous times to quit my tea and coffee drinking. My caffeine intake has sent me to the emergency room once with palpitations and killer high blood pressure. I have to limit my caffeine to 2 or less beverages a day ... unless I want to happily leave this plane of existence in a caffeine coma.

But I do love my morning coffee! And I do have a favorite cup!

I can definitely attest to this. I have a rainbow painted mug that my daughter made for me - when i drink tea or coffee, it has to be in that mug or i just don't enjoy it the same.

Oh me too. Mine's a white one with a black sketch of a porcupine on it that i had bought from Sri Lanka. And i wasn't very amused when I woke up one morning and found my niece sipping her tea from that mug!!

... and if I heard from a tea fan - this cup never must wash up with dish-washer! Only clear water!
