I dumped IE years ago when I woke up one morning to find that my Adobe Flash player suddenly stopped working. Why? IE6 didn't think it should have to be WW3 compliant. Discovered Firefox and have been surfing the web happily ever after. I too mainly use Firefox, although I would probably use the Opera browser more often if Clipmarks could be used on it. IE is just too clunky IMO I assume that "Google wave" will be available via an extension or plug-in for Firefox Open Development community, some one will make one. Funny thing, I have Opera but only use it to test browser compatibility when I design websites. Would you mind giving me some of the highlights? Well now Lisa, let me think Its the Opera 10 browser that has impressed me because of its short loading time a seemingly small imprint (not a resource hog) Also it has turbo-load which is quite a boon to those not having hi-speed connection. I have hi-speed wireless so have no first hand experience with this feature. There are other features like their email program, however so far, I am a gmail fan. Not much of a report To sum up: I like its crisp clean non-clunky delivery Thanks Toad I really should give it a test drive for a week. Except for Clipmarks, can't go without Clips for a week. I am afraid I'm addicted. That said, I like Firefox 3.5.3 as it has not let me down, and Clipmarks DOES work with it. I had some very frustrating experiences with some versions of Firefox. I've not found an antidote for Clipmarks Not to sure I want one Yes, perhaps it just might be a tsunami I've got mine, Google Wave invitation, by posting a request here: http://googlewaveinvites.weebly.com/ had to fill a dumb survey, but it worked and I got the invite so whatever. Thank you jackie |
