I haven't really been following this whole birther thing, it's a bit boring to me, but it seems to be the topic of the day, but from what I can gather reading around is, that the document you refer to, has been debunked quite a bit. To me, it DOES seem to be a fraud and spiritualmonkey brought up some very compelling arguments. But like I said, it really doesn't matter much to me, I think people should be allowed to pick whoever they like to be their leaders. Being born in any one particular geographic place doesn't necessarily make one a better leader. But from the Title 8 of the U.S. Code that Wiccan cited, if Obama's mother is a natural born American, then Obama is one too, right? The State of Hawaii is THE FINAL AUTHORITY on whether the CERTIFIED COPY that President Obama has presented is INDEED AUTHENTIC and proves he was born there. They have certified that President Obama's original birth records have not been handled in any way contrary to State procedure, or in any way different from any other citizen's.

Just because you don't believe the State officials when they do their jobs is not a reason for people to take you seriously. Nor is it valid reason for the State of Hawaii to treat President Obama's records differently from any other citizen.
