So COT, Why would you feel it necessary to bring up a woman's appearance in the context of this program which was to help these workers who had obvious medical problems they had not experienced before the September 11th attacks. I think it is commendable that Rosie is supportive of them. Since you brought up the fact that you are a gay conservative man, how is that working for you? Is it possible to support equality for GLBT individuals and at the same time adhere to conservative principles? Are they mutually exclusive? Or, more specifically, are they hypocritical? With all due respect to debbyski, both of you are a lot alike. One of you talks it but doesn't live it and the other lives it but doesn't talk it. It's self-hate. That's what you both have in common. I don't care how you dress it up or what kinds of excuses you have for it. It's still self hate. In both of your cases you try to make it look like it has some kind or merit to it. You try like hell to make everyone think that's it's all about you, but it's not, it's all about them and what they think of you.
