I think it was a very informative program and I feel we have a moral obligation to support these men and women.

LOL Rosie O' Donnell is an idiot. But I wouldn't want to get in her way if she trying to find a puff pastry. She looks like a fully shaven Dom DeLuise. Gross.

Popping this for the lesbians above, and yeah I'm gay too, so shut-up. Accuse me of homophobia and you just jumped the shark. So suck it.

Poor chestnuts and debbyski are gay y'all!

Who cares.

So COT,

Why would you feel it necessary to bring up a woman's appearance in the context of this program which was to help these workers who had obvious medical problems they had not experienced before the September 11th attacks. I think it is commendable that Rosie is supportive of them.

Since you brought up the fact that you are a gay conservative man, how is that working for you? Is it possible to support equality for GLBT individuals and at the same time adhere to conservative principles? Are they mutually exclusive? Or, more specifically, are they hypocritical?

With all due respect to debbyski, both of you are a lot alike. One of you talks it but doesn't live it and the other lives it but doesn't talk it.

It's self-hate. That's what you both have in common. I don't care how you dress it up or what kinds of excuses you have for it. It's still self hate. In both of your cases you try to make it look like it has some kind or merit to it. With clip-on, it's like " I'm gay but I'm a conservative gay and that means I'm not like those West Hollywood guys who flaunt it.Therefore I'm forgiven by those most likely to hate me for who I really am. With debbyski, its like, "I'm gay but I'm a sacrificing wife and mother who will be unhappy and miserable for the sake of my marriage, my husband , my children, and all gay hating people in the world. [i]Therefore I'm forgiven by those most likely to ha...

debbyski, it would be great if you take this as constructive criticism. I've watched you work very hard on your life and I respect that.

clip-on-tie, I could give a rat's ass.

By the way, wish me a happy anniversary. For the sake of all gay haters and gay's who hate themselves, I'm spending it absolutely alone. There's no merit to that at all. Just sadness.

I do not answer to nor wish or want in any shape or form any kind of forgiveness from anyone because I have done nothing wrong. If other's want to judge me, then so be it, whether the forum is verbal, a keyboard on a computer, an email, or a thought.

What I am passionate about is being a voice for political and societal change for any group of people I feel are not heard and suffer pain from their oppressors.

The venue for that is action in my life and other's in my community and the internet. It does not make me popular at times and that is a good thing, because it only reinforces my convictions.

It sounds to me like it's not your love that's divided, it's your hate. You try like hell to make everyone think that's it's all about you, but it's not, it's all about them and what they think of you. So now you're pretending to rise above all of us, you'll show us just how much better you are than we are. It's never really been all about you has it debbyski? Because, I don't think you don't know how to do that. In the meantime, that anger sets in....and then the depression. A cycle that just keeps coming back because you don't know how to break through it. And heaven forbid you allow anyone to help you because that might mean giving up control and power, neither one of which you really ha...
