I've watched the first 48 and other shows and the police do use all these tactics, Upstate.

Heh, should have showed this to Libby before he was taken before the grand jury. If I ever get questioned I am taking the Hillary approach. "Sorry, I don't recall."

They will try and get you to talk before they read you the Miranda Rights. They did to me. Question first, then read the rights.

tiesort, you have to know your rights, and if they say they are going to arrest you, they have to read your your rights at that time. If they don't, their case can be thrown out.

I'm not saying to resist or argue, just don't say anything.

I don't feel sorry for Libby, I am just saying he may end up doing some jail time for being stupid. Hillary may have been lying, but while they can make it look like you are lying if you remember something differently than someone else, they can't prove you are lying if you just keep saying you don't recall.
