rwbehne1 says: Read it all here:: http://www.sullivan-county.com/deism/evolution_debate.htm Firstly, not all Christians dismiss the evolution. Secondly, what Martin Luther is talking about is Human reason. All humans make mistakes and our perception of reason is different from God's. God's reasoning is perfect otherwise he would not be God. I believe this is what Martin Luther is talking about here. If I'm not mistaken, this is why rwb suggests to read it all here: http://www.sullivan-county.com/deism/evolution_debate.htm and which is what, I venture to guess, the 2nd POPPER did NOT do. (Full Disclosure=I went to it but only skimmed it. Hope to read it more thoroughly) Excellent point. I'm amazed at how I merely post clips, (that is, quotations of other people's writings,) only to be attacked as though _I_ were the author. It's food for thought! One underlying feature to all such attacks is that the person attacking me has never read the entire article, (let alone anything on the topic,) in spite of my posting an explicit link directly to it. It is true that not all christians dismiss evolution, but the grand majority do appear to, and although it is known to be allegory it is still taught as fact by churches. And I've been accosted by many a neurotic in my lifetime that believe it so much that they feel justified in threatening those whom don't. |
