The heading is meant to be tongue in cheek and to grab attention. Your suggestion of a title is far longer, moreover if you notice, the formation is referred to as being worshiped as "a Hindu god" not simply revered in the article itself, that was not my doing. Actually, the title is a factually accurate framing of the article.

As for your idea that you would never see anything desecrating Islam or Christianity, I personally have less respect for those institutions that I do for Hinduism, moreover I see a great deal MORE information that desecrates Islam in this day and age than Hinduism. Islam is increasingly becoming the target for many many people, Hinduism is not.

If a simple comment on the internet has the power of subtracting importance from your religious beliefs, then you should do some serious thinking about where the power of those beliefs come from. A sense of humor can only come from a place of security, and I suspect comments like yours come from a place of insecurity. This is not my problem.

I mean you no disrespect and I'm sorry if the title offends you, but you're one of the few, not the many, and I certainly won't change it because of your over-sensitivity.
