I cannot agree more; I have stopped reading editorials and commentaries; however, I still read books though the experience is the same: you feel like coming back to computer for reading, sometime right in the middle of the book just to check some reference or sometime to take a break. I'd say clipmarks is also responsible, but I don't mind. I agree. We are a distracted and overly busy society. Kids have structured activities rather than time for goofing and free play. Workers are expected to multi-task and to be accessible 24/7. Enjoying the moment can be wracked with guilty thoughts of "I should be ..... It's OVERPOPULATION, stupid.
