The science is far from settled. There is no consensus. The climate was changing long before the invention of the SUV and will be changing long after we are gone. One side is trying to shut down debate, and it isn't the side I am on. Science isn't about consensus. If we want to really help the environment, we should be doing something about tangible pollution such as trash in the oceans. We should be promoting solutions that don't involve chopping down more forests to grow more crops that are then converted into fuel instead of food. We should be looking at drilling at home to lower the dependence on foreign oil, as we work towards alternative energy sources such as... we can remove carbon dioxide from our atmosphere.
