I don't mind if people are let out of jail after their sentence to society is completed. But when it comes to sex offenders, wouldn't it be better to have them bused to another facility and have them evaluated instead of just "set free on society?" And no, I do not believe hardened sex offenders can be rehabilitated. But the last line is telling ...

This is a difficult question. The law and the court set their sentence - I would argue that if that sentence means people are at an unreasonable risk when they are released, the laws need to change.
