Why am I not at all shocked by this? If they're not stealing it, they're usually bashing it around when it's marked fragile. I remember one time sitting next to the window watching them load one of my bags that had a fragile sticker on it. They just threw it in with as much force as they could muster instead of gently placing it in. Sure enough as soon as the plane landed and I got my bag, everything was smashed inside. I learned my lesson after that. (First time flying way back in the early 90's.)
