Gay rights are human rights! Some people wonder why I, a straight man, am so passionate about gay rights. This is why.

Robjustin makes a good point. We should all care about civil rights whether they affect us personally or not. Social justice is so important to our humanity.

You are all right on every point. My question is this; is that Sen really as ignorant as he seems? That was a stupid comment to make, plain and simple. And, They don't need protection because they have money? People are people no matter what their income, sexuality, religion, skin colour, any difference at all. And all deserve to be equal under the law.

I think it's of particular annoyance to me that in this day and age, (if you read the source) people equate gay marriage with beastiality They try and try to say being gay is perverse by making that association. Never mind it's always some straight hick from the sticks that is doing the sheep. But that is beside the point. The point is people with these sort of attitudes are losing the cultural war and thank God for most American's who celebrate diversity and who believe in staying out of consenting adults bedrooms.
