Sure is no religion really scientific. But Buddhism and even Islam says, that humans shall study sciences to get knowledge.

I've always thought of science as a "technical piece of writing" describing life and religion as "poetry" describing life. Two very different approaches. The conflict comes in when a religion claims "technical or historical" validity. It just doesn't work.

I think this clip is about spirituality rather than religion. I learned Buddhist meditation 30 years ago (anapanasati, vipassana and metta mostly (google if interested)). I am now and was then an atheist; I have absolutely no belief in gods, souls, fairies etc but still meditate daily. For me this helps to

answers questions like “how do I
live with the anxiety of knowing that I am going to die?
without the need for religion.
