Defending America IS his primary job but embarking on a needless war using defense as an excuse is not.

Then perhaps he should enlist.

Defending the country is a diverse job. While invasion of our borders/sovereignty is certainly at the top of the list, if not foremost, home defense is not the only dimension of protecting the people.

How we educate, or medicate our people will have everything to do with our potential to thrive and survive in a complicated world...including having smart, strong soldiers to protect us.
