it seems by the time ext4 is made default, btrfs will be available (the linux equivalent of ZFS)</DIV>

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></DIV><DIV>I'm looking forward to btrfs as well . The GNU/Linux filesystem seems to be heading to a direction where we the users would be spoilt for choices. </DIV>

There is also a possibility though, that the developers may think of using say something like btrfs for server and ext4 for desktop (with an option to change it to whatever the user wants) ,  just an idea though . </DIV>
