I highly recommend video based on the first part covering the history of the many religions. I have come across many of the things pointed out about the many religions of the world discussed in this video at various other times and places. This is the first time I have seen anyone bring all of these connections together at one time. It helped to bring clarity to the very thing I had taken noticed of over time. I now plan to spend time verifying everything for myself so that I can feel confidant in the conclusion presented in this video. I hope that anyone wanting to put confidence in the conclusion presented in the video, will do the same before promoting the conclusion. As for the re...

Yes, of course. All of such work has already been done in various forms. For instance check the book, The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold (Paperback)
by Acharya S (Author).

Her references for this very conclusion, in the film, are extensive and very authoritative.

There are others, but this one is saturated with references. She went about it with meticulous detail; so it's not too easy to read (in my opinion) because EVERYTHING is backed up!

But the conclusion is the same.

Based on the first part only:
The propaganda here is very strong, and it should be noted that there are alternate explainations or reasonings for some of the material covered. For example, Jesus (the actual person, who did exist, and was crucified by the Roman authority for crimes amouting to 'disturbing the peace' or 'enciting rebelion' - he was one of many who was suffereded this fate) may have been born around 6 BCE, with the star refering to a comet. This may not 'fit' with the idea of inter-religion similarities, but is worth considering.
If you ignore the quite blatent bias in [the first part] of this film, it is worth watching, for the history of religion is a fascinating subject.

About the mistranslation in the King James version of the Bible, it has also been sujested that Jesus was not born in a 'manger' in a stable, but that this is also a mistranslation with the original text stating Jesus was born in a cave. (Though this does not fit with the context of the film.)
Early Christians did not believe Jesus was born on 25th Dec. In fact, church authorities moved the celebration of Jesus' birth to this day around 600 AD (ish). This was because 25th Dec was a popular celebration date in pagan calenders (for obvious reasons), and the church wanted fewer pagan 'distractions' for Christians.
On the subject of church authority, the Bible, the "word of god" was finalised in...
