Anyway...those are some pretty good values to strive for and instill in our personal lives. I would add 'integrity' and 'kindness'.

Good points, tommy. However, knowing the source of the list, it is a given that "hope" is a part of faith. I agree with you that there is glaring omission of reality in the list and to the discriminating eye, such as the one you possess, it is a big mistake not to point out the very important distinction on a rational and semantic level. One cannot be fully accountable for every mis-step in the course casual conversation. However, when the discussion is about the distinction itself, then there are more precise rules one must follow. Here, perhaps, is an attampt to reach out. Maybe, I don't know. I do know this for a fact. When Beck is speaking about 'hope', faith is a given. When a materialist speaks about 'hope', that is not the case.
