<BR />Monsanto says it won't Genetically Modify the seeds of THESE veggies...no, they're just going to destroy the natural disease-fighting Antioxidants found in these particular vegetables -- Broccoli, Spinach, Cauliflower and Lettuce so they can breed more colorful, tastier veggies for us that are less susceptible to bruising and have a longer shelf-life. We humans will "wilt" and develop a SHORTER shelf-life, but hey -- we'll sure want to chow down those beautiful shiny new fruits and vegetables -- who knows, maybe they won't even require refrigeration! Since Monsanto is buying up all the seed companies in the world, I wonder when they'll start splicing human genes with plant genes to create a more "environment-friendly" human, then the whole planet can become the land of the fruits and the nuts...
