If anything its getting worse. I'm deleting an average of 100 to 200 spams a day. Change email addresses regularly. Put filters from the old one. Let them spam away. Works for me. There are a few more tricks so that multiple email addresses are not a problem. The initial flood is actually a result of the last guy that had my email. I kept getting emails with his name on it. The jerk kept signing up for stuff and when it would ask for an email he'd use his old one (my new one). But by that time I had given that email address out to many of my business customers and really didn't want the hassle of changing it. My provider offers multiple emails so I had created a new email and began using that one for "serious" work and using my old one for those various sites that require email verification. I then set all emails coming into that old account to just go into the deleted except those that I had created rules for to put into the inbox.
