I swear employers in the USA are untouchable these days unless it has to do with a discrimination suit. Just try and find a lawyer for any lawsuit against an employer; my wife just was hired at a new job and told to report the following Friday; she quit he current job; showed up at the new job and was told that there were discrepancies in her background check. What it was is that she lost her H.S. diploma, but I called her school and had the transcripts sent here. My wife handed them the unopened Sealed (with the H.S. seal) and they still double talked her...........she eventually got the job a month later....there went our savings.....My wife threatened a lawsuit...then called the backgro...

My wife handed them the unopened Sealed (with the H.S. seal) and they still double talked her...........she eventually got the job a month later....there went our savings.....My wife threatened a lawsuit...then called the backgrond check Co. and spoke with a supervisor...within 19 minutes he called back and said that he spoke with the school and her BG check was complete...she called the company that pulled her job and they hired her right then, and sent the job offer in writing via FedEx the next day...we're still behind on our bills but at least thing worked out. She won't let me pursue a lawsuit. I guess I just had to RANT!
