Quantitative Easing in the UK has set the cat amongst the pigeons! These moves have been to the benefit of the US dollar on the back of the non farm figures last week. Currently GBP/AUD is the pair to watch.

Already this morning we have had the release of eagerly awaited jobless claims and UK unemployment. UK jobless claims came in better than expected at +24,900 against expectations of +28,000, however the ILO unemployment rate nudged up to 7.8% from 7.6% against the expectation of 7.7%, worse than expected.
