The liberals at at it again. They don't stop at pandering to illegals, inmates, and minorities for their votes. Now they try to inject political pseudoscience (global warming scam) into elementary schools to brainwash our newest generations into liberalthink.for future votes.

Since the 'climate debate' involves most curriculum areas, is a major political topic and has real relevance to people's lives, it would seem to be a very suitable vehicle for developing the said educational objectives and a move in the right direction of countering the abysmal educational levels so alarmingly manifest today.

Better to teach the Scientific Method to students so they can make their own deductions on issues impacting their lives. Anyone who applies Scientific Method quickly discerns that man caused global warming is a scam and is baseless.

abailart - you are right, students need to develop their critical thinking skills. Some how, I don't think that is the objective that the politicians had it mind. So, why don't we stick with the basics, reading, writing and arithmetic. When students master those subjects, then maybe the teachers can add something else.
