Tell me this isn't agenda driven?

I'd like to believe it isn't, but I'm afraid it is. Every four or five years the SBOE in Texas revises the curriculum standards. Because we have a Republican governor and most of the state is Republican, it would appear we have a group of advisers who want a conservative approach to history education. While that is not necessarily bad, to advocated for the removal of the emphasis on certain figures in history, denying their role in changing the way we live in society today, is inexcusable.
