AcesLucky says: And you still believe its not a racket? Doesn't look like feeding the poor and walking in the footsteps of Jesus to me. But keep donating, they all have to take a dump somewhere. It's called fleecing the flock. It's a time honored tradition. Glad you could be on board. Thanks again for your donation. God will pay you back a 1000-fold ... after you're dead. (What a great punch line! Only a few people actually get it.) Do you think if Pelosi's facelift ever let loose, the pressure from it would take out a city block? Sorry, that question may be off-subject, but it's been driving me crazy wondering about it lately. $23,000 for a marble-topped commode?!? Holy Shit! (In more ways than one, too.) Once when I worked for the IRS, I audited a lady that only had a $20,000 a year income, 2 children and no husband, no child support, she did get food stamps and other welfare, who gave $5000 to people like Joyce Meyers and other radio/tv preachers. All checks were for small amounts, $5, $10, never more than $25, but she gave consistently weekly, but did not attend a church. I couldn't understand it at the time, she was basically taking food, clothing and shelter out of her life and her children's lives. I've never understood the hold that Joyce Meyers and others of her ilk have over ordinary people. Scam artists and scumbags Yah, I have a relative who has no income and her brother supports her. He is low income himself. Not only does he give 10% of his income to his church, but she gives 10% of the money he gives her to live on to the church. Religion is a parasite larger than the host. |
