It seems animals in a zoo generally do a lot better than many people in war zones and third world countries. Why is the distinction so important? We don't seem to be as special as we once thought we were. We should have a respect for life in general and stop pretending that things should have rights at our discretion. For a start, the chimps evolved first, so they have seniority. Maybe giving the chimps the right to vote, would make elections fairer. Election campaigns are a mystery to most people, Chimps should have no trouble.(I couldn't resist bringing politics in, but you have to give the chimps some credi... LOL@pokkets! Excellent observations! Hey they are the closest relitives we have in the animal kingdom. Although we seem to have trouble giving human beings the rights they are entitled too. |
