Wow. As usual learning something new has brought up even more questions. I'd like to see a timeline done taking the history of our solar system into account as well as predictions to the path of our star going back in time. The article suggested a period of 2 billion years of interaction which suggests that at the time of our sun's birth it was quite separate from the Milky Way.

I also wonder if this might present possible evidence to some of our own solar systems quirks, such as the extreme tilt of Uranus? Definitely thought provoking.

No doubt it was the one whose brother told him of first hand witness to parting seas, virgin births, and water turning into wine.

On "thought provoking subject matter"

Grooved Spheres
- An Interim Report Naturally occuring with 1 sphere actually having grooves. "the grooves could have been carved innocently
just as folkart and later mistakenly thought to have been
present when it was found"

Dropa Stones - See criticisms. I think this is simply hoax and wishful thinking

Ica Stones - Questionable . Proven that many stones where forged.

Antikythera Mechanism - Actually much [url=http://www.antikythera-mechanism.gr/]more informa...

Impossible Fossils - Exeptions to the norm, Around 200 strange fossils vs 250 million fossils that fall into our understanding of fossils. I'm not saying to simply discount these finds, but you certainly do not throw out all knowledge because something appears confusing at first.

Out of place metal objects - The london Hammer is an example. The metal tubes, when searched, kept referencing me to scientology sites.

The Bad Astronomer, Phil Plait, pointed out some obvious flaws in this idea. The sun is most likely native to the Milky Way :

Yeah, good call on the Bad Astronomy link, Oortcloud. Phil completely debunks this idea.
