Quakes in Morgan Hill area are not too uncommon. I lived in Sacrament when one hit there.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a great commuter system. However, it does travel under the bay (below the Bay Bridge) enroute to downtown San Francisco. I know a few folks that won't use it for this reason. I thought it was cool. But totally understand the concern.
