The rapture concept is a relatively new belief. It is essentially ignored by most other Christian faith groups. It does not form a part of any other religion. It is dismissed by essentially all liberal Christian theologians.

Someone told me I should read the "Left Behind" series so I could "prepare myself". I told her that if it happened, there'd be plenty of unowned copies to pick up and a thousand years to read 'em.
