Where's that shill that always on here clammering about that (like they all have been for the past 50 years)

The above political mongering aside, I find this to be a surprisingly large step into the world's centerstage limelight for Canada; something we normally don't see from them. If successful this action will raise their prominence on the international scene. I don't see it as being just about oil but rather as an assertion of dominion in an area which will become very important in international relations if/as the icecap receeds.

It wasn't political at all and true. The Peak Oil alarmists have been yelling for years about how we are out of oil and then someone always discovers a huge reserve. Then they yell we are out again. If that's not just like chicken little (the sky is falling), then what is it?
