As much as that sounds like the ideal plan, sometimes the enemy doesn't always play by those rules. In order to survive, sometimes you have to kill them before they kill us. I can guaranty to you, I'm not going down without a fight.

yes but negotiations and grass roots reconciliation projects can keep the peace
just look at northern ireland and the strides taken towards a more peaceful coexistence there
Its not ideal or perfect but its an improvement on senseless violence
If I understand a person or myself I'm more likely to be peaceful , than if I were violent and antagonistic
