Ironically, Philip Agee's activities led to the passage of the Intelligence Identities Protection Act that figured prominently in the Valerie Plame and may well apply in the John Adams Project case.

We should support the Attorney General's attempt to cause the John Adams Project to "out" undercover CIA agents to cease. Getting innocent American agents killed is not going help Gitmo detainees seek justice. This activity is lethal, and not part of prudent policy on the part of the ACLU. This unnecessarily costs them support. I must assume that the error is due to elitist arrogance on the part of the ACLU core decision makers... sacrificing American lives for political gain. However one feels about that question, it is no excuse to put the defenders of my family's security in unnecessary danger.
