Benedict’s point was that if relativists consider any claims of moral truth as inherently oppressive, they feel justified in attempting to muzzle those who make them. In Benedict’s words, they “seek to subordinate all religions to the super-dogma of relativism.”
While hiding priests and failing to kick them out (god forbid prosecute) for the molestation of children, he talks about moral relativism. Classic!

And Bush is not one to talk about moral relativism, his whole administration is based on elevating it to a "virtue".

For covering up decades of child molestation? You know, criminals often say they are sorry for the crimes they committed, after they're caught.

If he's a champion of morality, why did it take so long to do the right thing? And WHY did he finally do the right thing? (It got to a point where it could no longer be hidden!)

Look, it took the church 300 years to admit they were wrong about Galileo. If these priests weren't being prosecuted, the church would have said nothing. Ever.

He knew about it for decades and helped keep them safe while putting other children at risk. His actions speak far louder than his words. He ...
