Researchers at Indiana University have developed a program to detect whether or not text was created by a human or a computer, in response to those computer scientists who have been submitted computer-generated papers to conferences. You can enter a block of text into the website and it will give you a probability that the paper is "authentic".

Sebastian Bauhoff, the blogger who led me to the Inauthentic Paper Detector, wrote that it "apparently does rather well" but then he found out that the Detector said his own blog entry had only a 26% chance of being authentic!

Go Hoosiers!
